The true purpose of philological costume reconstruction finds meaning only in bringing moments of the past back to life! For over twenty years, we have been creating unique events in villas, palaces, parks, where for a few days we recreate the spirit of the past to allow us to fully understand and experience it. Thanks to the experience gained over years of study and passion, more and more often, live events are accompanied by recordings that, when disseminated, tell the story of the past, bringing it back to life with vivid colors and emotions!

Every garment from Atelier Pietro Longhi is born from a study that includes the universe surrounding it. For this reason, Francesco Briggi is able to give lectures and lessons at various levels on various topics, from uniformology to the history of clothing and costumes, to jewelry.
Thanks to a long curriculum that includes seven permanent exhibitions in Italian museums, lectures at prestigious universities and academies, conferences for important organizations and institutions, the atelier is a reference point for global fashion culture and a venue for recognized training internships in universities throughout Europe, as well as an organizer of animated museum tours for audiences of all ages.
Following the experience of the temporary exhibition “Storie di moda,” completely curated by Atelier Pietro Longhi, which has been set up in various palaces and museums since 2013, Francesco Briggi has developed animated lectures where the garments are worn directly by models. Through the history of fashion, an original interpretation of the events that occurred is presented, relating from art history to the economy related to the fashion industry, one of the driving forces of the Venetian economy in the past and the Italian economy today.
